He smiles at her as they fly, heading for the tunnel and then into it. Now that it has been cleared and is okay to travel through, he dares to do so again, and with her in his arms,he grins.

"Wait'll you see the up from above."

When they come out of the tunnel, he takes them up, slow and easy, so she can see out over the city, the way he looks every morning.

The city spreads out below them, and he grins at her. In the sky, he feels more alive, more intense.
