[Now that the never ending day has come to a close, Rip has been having fun enjoying the night. This night, she's wandering some of the buildings with her hell cat draped over her shoulders.  The Huntress has even managed to scare up an old winter coat that looks like it had seen better days. Unfortunately the coat seems to be a few sizes too small so it hugs her form almost like a second skin. Not that she cares.

Rip is looking through the various buildings, humming a Christmas carol as she searches for... gifts. This was the one holiday that was celebrated more than even Halloween and Rip was very, very determined to enjoy it. That... and it's been over 50 years since she's had a white Christmas.

As for who she was giving gifts to? Well that was going to remain a secret. True, she couldn't celebrate the holiday  in some of the more traditional ways that she was used to, but she was going to make the best of it!

Eventually she pauses and digs something out of the rubble. It looks... like a broken Pocket Watch. She fiddles with it for a few moments before reaching up to scratch her cat's ears.]

"Vat do you zhink Hadewig? I am sure ve can find zomeone to fix it up."

[The Yodare gives a soft mewl and buts her head against her Mistress's cheek, making the vampire grin a little as she scratches the gray cats head.]

"You are right~ ve just need to ask! But first... lets zee vat else ve can find."

[Neither one of them seems to notice that PCD is even on.. or that it even fell out of Rip's pocket.]

From what I've been taught, vampires do exist in my world. They're... less liked than werewolves, I think.

Yeah, sometimes, there's not a lot to do. But... for right now, it's a good change. I'll probably be bored in a month, but... [He shrugs. He'll still be alive in a month and here, with his parents.] I suppose I'll find a way to make due.

Zhe local animals und monsters mostly. I hunt to keep Hadewig fed. She goes zhrough quite a bit und zhe left over bones are her chew toys.

Yodare's love to chew on zhings. She iz no different. I haf just curbed zome of her more destructive tendacies. Zhink of zhem az a mix of a cat und a shark. Vith zhe right training, zhe can not tear you apart.

I drink from vat I kill to lessen zhe mess. Ozher zan zhat, ve are provided blood from zhe clinic. If you are asking if I hunt humans, I vould haf to zay no. Zhere are zhings zhat make it unnecessary to do so.

I zee it as a matter of survival. One cannot be picky about zheir meals ven zhere iz little to eat.

That's a very good point. [One he learned earlier this year, when he, Ron and Hermione often had to survive off of what they could find.] Sometimes, you just have to survive off what you can find.

[That question makes her a little uneasy to answer. Before here she was waging war, meaning she was hunting humans and enjoying the thrill of making their blood run.

Still! She was far from ashamed of that! So she grins.]

Before here I vas hunting humans. Ve vere at var und I vas Millenniums best sniper~. As for mein Captain.. ve vere in zhe same elite unit. Ve did not mingle vith zhe other soliders often.

It iz very, very common to use guns und even knives az a vampire to fight vith. Ja, ve haf an edge over humans, but vat about other vampires?

Vhen you are going against zomething zhat iz just as fast und az vicious az you are, one needs every advantage zhey can get~. Mine just happens to be distance und never missing.

For zome. It depends on vat you are hunting~. My usual gun iz a long musket which needs to be reloaded vith gunpowder und shot each round. But~, I can make it hit multiple time vhich makes it vorth it.

Skill iz more effective zhen brute force~ vhich some I know tend to favor.
