Having several hours of peaceful sleep with no nightmares and not suddenly waking up feeling restless was.. a rare treat for her. Rip rarely ever got to sleep like this unless someone she trusted was beside her. Especially with how vulnerable she was while sleeping..
The bed shifts beneath her, causing her to stir as he stretches out. Rip lingers in that hazy in between of sleep and wakefulness for a few moments longer as he snuggles up behind her. She can even feel the faint tugging on her hair as she slowly works on waking up more and more.
Once she reaches that moment of slowly waking up, her eyes slowly open and she remains relaxed against him, enjoying the feel of him against her back and the way his heart soothed her. Though now that she was awake again, so was her hunger....
