[She nods and after a moment, she's leaning on him a little. Touch was a comfort to her and she knew it was one for him.. so.. She settled against his side.]

Even so, it's nice to haf someone from home. Vell, now zhat I'm not afraid of you. Besides, you can teach me how to actually vampire.

[She smiles slightly.]

So at least zhere's zhat?

[ he leans into her, keeping his eyes closed the whole while. it is a comfort, a small one, but it's better than nothing. ]

I agree. Don't go anywhere. [ not that she wants to, he knows. ] I can teach you plenty of things.

[ a sigh. ]

Small favors, right?

[She shifts to rest her head against his shoulder and just sort of curls up against his side with her glass in hand.]

Zhen...consider me your villing student. It's about time I learned properly.

[She nods against his shoulder slightly. Yes, definitely small favors.]

[ he curls an arm around her and it's definitely possessive. she's what he has to hang on to at the moment, after all. he takes another drink, then sets his glass aside. ]

Well, someone certainly needs to teach you. I still don't know how trying to properly change you would go, but we'd know in time for you to drink enough back to heal before you died.

[ a shrug. ]

We don't have to try it, but if it worked it would up your healing and fix your eyesight.

[Surprisingly she found his possessiveness a comfort as his arm settled around her. There was a part of her that... liked that. She'd liked it with Methos and now, with Alucard.

She kept toying with her glass, thinking about that possibility.]

Ve could try, zhough...I vas zhinking... maybe letting zomeone study me might help? If ve understood just vat Doc did, maybe ve can figure out how to.. complete it?

...If just straight up attempting to turn me doesn't vork, I mean.

[She's been thinking about it recently. Rip's had nothing but time to think in the fort after all.]

Besides, I'd love to haf my eyesight fixed. Or be able to heal like everyone else. It's...disturbing being zhe veakest vampire here. At least, zhe veakest of all zhe ones I've met so far.

I don't know of anyone with enough working knowledge of vampires to figure that out. But there's--Rosalind Lutece. She's going to be studying my seals, and she could study you. She created the synthetic blood I've been drinking. I just turned her recently.

[ wait, what? excuse me? ]

It's difficult, since you were created rather than turned. We could do something about it with enough knowledge, though.

[Pause. She blinks and tilts her head to look up at him.]

Hold on.. vhen did you turn someone?

[Because obviously that's the important part.]

...Und I don't zhink I've met her yet. I vas zhinking of going to Dr. Reid.. Ve may not exactly get along but, vell. He's zhe only vampire doctor I know.

A few days after we all got back. It was consensual, I'm not breaking my own rules here.

[ a sigh, but he nods. ]

The good doctor would never assist us in making you more vampire-like. I can guarantee you that, based on his reaction to me the last time I went in.

[ he was REAL MAD about rosalind, that's for sure. ]

[That he wasn't breaking his own rules. Though, she could hardly blame anyone for wanting to be a vampire anyway.]

Vell, I vas going to frame it as he could study me so he could reverse it.

[She shrugged a little. Even though Rip had no intentions of giving up her vampiric status, artificial or not.]

But, I'm not even sure if he vould agree. Like I said, ve don't get along und I'm not exactly fond of one of his colleagues.

I don't know if we should involve him at all. If he finds out it's a lie he'll be rightfully furious, and I don't like being untruthful to begin with. We could tell Rosalind the truth and she should be willing to assist if only from scientific curiosity.

[ he's thoughtful about it a moment before nodding. ]

Out of everyone I've met, she's our best bet for a helpful look.

Az if he's not perpetually pissed at me already.

[Which meant she doubted lying to him would change anything. But, perhaps Alucard had a point.]

If you're sure she vill be villing to assist, zhen fine.Ve shall ask Rosalind. Besides, if I'm going to be your submissive, I may as vell meet your fledgling.

[Which is as close as they're going to get to Rip agreeing to his judgement on this matter. Though she did pause for a moment as she thought of something.]
