Rip, I apologize for reaching out to you over text rather than speaking to you in person, but I wanted to bring a matter to you immediately upon hearing about it.

It's come to my attention that you and Grayson had an arrangement while he still owned The Crucible, specifically about where you wander when you're at the club and how that area's not to extend beyond the rooms you're working in during the evening. As I've inherited all else with this place, I'm inheriting his deals and rules as well without changing them. This arrangement will stand with the same consequences enforced. I wanted you to know that before there were any issues with it. I assume there won't be.

I figured the deal was still in play. I wouldn't want to accidentally cause an issue while things were in a little bit of chaos with Grayson leaving.

I'll make sure to stick to my areas as before.

That aside, we should speak one night when you're in. You and I have a hunt to set up. It's something I'm very much looking forward to.

Of course~. It's never a bad idea to confirm the agreed upon boundaries. The consequences of not doing so might be a bit bloody otherwise. Not that I was planning on causing trouble, but, you never know what might happen.

I agree~. I should be in sometime soon for a few nights. We can discuss our little hunt in private then.

Also, I just wanted to make sure you are aware that I don't work around the full moon.

I've seen that noted in schedules without explanation. Is this something I should know or be worried about?

That depends on your views on werewolves.

I have a furry issue around the full moon that I am still getting used to. So it is safer for myself and potential clients that I have that time off for now.

Ah, I understand. I've no problem with those who can transform, but I agree that safety is paramount and you should have those nights off. There's little reward in such a risk.

Is this a recent change? As I understood it, you're a vampire. But you are also now a werewolf?

So you remember the monster energy drink issues? My furry problem started after that.

When it isn't a full moon I am still all vampire and still able to enjoy the pain and pleasures working in the VIP rooms give me.

During the full moon I am alive and harder to injure.

Yes, I remember the incident quite well. It seems a few people are now dealing with permanent transformations on the other side of it.

It really makes you alive? A full heartbeat and breaths? I probably shouldn't be surprised the city can do such things, but the fact that this continues to happen to you suggests it's permanent. How they managed that, I wish we could know.

I've noticed and it's a little worrying.

Yes, for a few days I have a heartbeat, body heat and breathe. It's a very strange sensation after so long without it and I'm pretty sure that it's permanent by this point.

Well, considering they have devices to rob people of their abilities, I suppose giving us permanent transformations isn't that hard. It's not the first time it's happened.

I suppose they can, but I didn't realize they could do things permanently.

It's happened before all this? Outside of people being turned into vampires or werewolves the traditional ways?

Actually, yes. A few years ago.There was another instance of monster transformations that involved a spaceship.

Don't ask, it was just as weird at the time as it sounds.

I know a few people that gained a permanent monster transformation afterwards, tho it was rarer than this little.. outbreak.

I don't believe 'weird' begins to cover how strange that sounds. In this place, I'll take it as truth without question.

Years between the incidents, that's a welcome a thing. At least they're not forcing it on us every few months; that could be a disaster more than it already is.

Have you been able to work out what you need with this transformation? Where to live, what to eat, and the like?

Considering the focus this place has on sex, I think the transformations are more of an unplanned side effect.

Somewhat. I can eat whatever I want for once and I have so much energy that I've been going for runs around the city or up and down the beach when I can. Otherwise, I stay with my dominant during that time.

He can handle me if I get out of control. Though, every month seems to bring more and more control so hopefully, I won't need someone keeping an eye on me during a full moon for too much longer.

If only all of them had something to do with sex. They might be easier to handle if they were.

This is very good news. Control of certain impulses is always good to have. I don't know if it will be something we bring back to The Crucible, but we can discuss the matter once you feel settled in your control over your new form. It's at least worth a conversation at that time.

Maybe. I am a little hesitant to bring my werewolf form to the Crucible. I like being in the VIP rooms because I get the pain I crave and the torment I desire.

As a vampire, I can slow my healing down enough to enjoy it and let the client do what they want no matter how extreme. As a wolf, I heal extremely fast and cannot really.. be hurt by conventional means.

I'm not sure if our Clients would like a nearly indestructible wolf at their beck and call. ...Though, there might be some interested in collaring a werewolf for a night I suppose.

The hesitation is understandable, and it's not something I'd pressure you into. Certainly, it's not something to think about too much until you feel you have it under control or before the new year. If it never becomes something you offer, there's no loss to it.

Staff safety and comfort is a top priority. I'd rather you be happy than worry about our clients missing out on an opportunity they don't need when we already offer them so much.

Fair enough and so far, I'm very content with what I have to offer clientele as a vampire. They give me the things I crave and I give them an outlet for some of their more depraved, tortuous impulses.

It's a definite win/win.
