20th Song [AccidentalVideo]

[Now that the never ending day has come to a close, Rip has been having fun enjoying the night. This night, she's wandering some of the buildings with her hell cat draped over her shoulders.  The Huntress has even managed to scare up an old winter coat that looks like it had seen better days. Unfortunately the coat seems to be a few sizes too small so it hugs her form almost like a second skin. Not that she cares.

Rip is looking through the various buildings, humming a Christmas carol as she searches for... gifts. This was the one holiday that was celebrated more than even Halloween and Rip was very, very determined to enjoy it. That... and it's been over 50 years since she's had a white Christmas.

As for who she was giving gifts to? Well that was going to remain a secret. True, she couldn't celebrate the holiday  in some of the more traditional ways that she was used to, but she was going to make the best of it!

Eventually she pauses and digs something out of the rubble. It looks... like a broken Pocket Watch. She fiddles with it for a few moments before reaching up to scratch her cat's ears.]

"Vat do you zhink Hadewig? I am sure ve can find zomeone to fix it up."

[The Yodare gives a soft mewl and buts her head against her Mistress's cheek, making the vampire grin a little as she scratches the gray cats head.]

"You are right~ ve just need to ask! But first... lets zee vat else ve can find."

[Neither one of them seems to notice that PCD is even on.. or that it even fell out of Rip's pocket.]

[Jean doesn't even realize how lame it is, so for her to encourage it like that, yeah she's not helping. But at least she didn't call him on it and embarrass him.

There's a surprised silence and awkward clearing of the throat, his voice laced with a shy smile.]

Awh c'mon now, no teasin' th'poor guy on th'other end hm?

[Of course, you can practically hear the smirk in her voice. Yes, she found him physically attractive and he was rather good in bed~. That and it wasn't often she actually got to flirt so~ she was taking advantage of this.

Besides, something needed to take her mind off of Zamiel.]

I just don't hear it all that often, that's all- hard t'think sometimes people aren't just sayin' it t'be nice in return.

[He's not holding his PCD it's against something obviously since he's sitting out in the cold on his back step, whittling away at something in some little chunk of wood.]

[She peers at what he's carving curiously as she nods a little. As for herself, she's sitting on the ground now, idly playing with the pocket watch she found. Hopefully she'll find other things for gifts while she's out and about. There's still a little time left to do so.]

[Jean took a little look to the side at Rip's turning it to video too. Of course that brought a bit of a smile to his face and he simply-shyly- bowed his head while he made another notch in the wood.]

Well thank y'kindly, Rip.

[He stopped what he was doing and turned to face the Video a little more.]

Y'know, we kinda ....started off on th'wrong kinda path- or well not, ..not wrong. ...bah.

I mean- maybe we oughta meet more formally?

[He isn't so much for laughing but he is smiling and rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.]

I suppose yeah t-that it could'a been called fun path. I'll admit I had a good time. Say uh ...

[He sets down his knife to the side on the back step.]
My commandin' officers are gettin' married sometime, not sure if they're havin' a big row for it but uh ... Maybe .. y'wouldn't mind...... I dunno, goin' with me if they do?

[Delighted? Delighted is a good word, he could deal with delighted times forever. He smiled a little wider, his hand falling from the back of his neck to rest on his knee, the other one on the other knee.]

'Course I don't mind that at all, Rip. My previous resident in th'house out back loved fancy umbrellas n' all that kinda thing if y'need one. She was a real nice kid, so I doubt she'd mind if y'had one or two if y'need 'em.

[She perked up a little at the thought of having more umbrellas. Her current one was getting a little ragged around the edges with all the use and abuse she put it through.]

[Jean smiled widely at the perk up of her attitude. He likes the women around him to be happy, even if its just over something simply.]

[Of course, she would be taking advantage of that soon enough with a certain Hellsing now in the city. It just depended on what happens in her current residence.]
